Ryan Kyle Coogler is an Oakland-based filmmaker and producer known for weaving social commentary into blockbuster genre films that explore Black identity, culture, and community. His notable works include Fruitvale Station, Creed, Black Panther, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Coogler also produced Judas and the Black Messiah and Space Jam: A New Legacy.
